  • Numerology 4 x Ableton 10 Live

Hey guys, first post and experience with N4.

Read the manual and it seems to be skipping a vital part as when I open Numerology as a VST in ableton there is no 'DRAG AN AUDIO UNIT HERE'. Also No Audio Units on the side or any Factory Stacks (Is there somewhere I need to download these?)

If I open standalone it opens up as it should, but I want it to open normally inside of ableton so I have full control.

Is there any way to do this like this example video tutorial I wanted INSIDE ableton live?

Thanks in advance! Sorry if its a novice question,

    Tom

FIRST IMAGE IS THE STANDALONE PROGRAM (FINE)

SECOND IMAGE IS HOW ABLETON OPENS IT (WRONG!)

THIRD IMAGE IS SOMEONES DAW ON A TUTORIAL HOW I WANT IT TO BE LIKE!

If I understand well what you are asking, Numerology inside any daw is already a plugin, it cannot as a plugin open another plugin !!!

      Hi,

Standalone is multi-stack multi-track with clock, plugin is single-stack 2-track and takes clock from the host.
There are pros and cons to each depending on how you like to work.

It is still possible to slave Numerology standalone to Live via. Rewire, but if you're on an ARM-based mac it requires running them both in Rosetta mode.
Rewire is deprecated so this wont work forever, but atm it's the best solution imho.

There are a few threads around here with details on setting that up.
That said, if you have any questions fire at will.
