  • Duplicate Presets: Weird Naming

    Hey!

First off: i LOVE the Vector, it's an incredible machine and very straight forward to use!

I experience some issues when duplicating patterns in the PRESET/SCENE section:
I copy a pattern (A1) in the PRESETS page, cause i want to apply slight changes to it. When pasting it in the free space next to A1, it will be named A1, too. This is highly weird, as from the logical side of things, this pattern needs to be named A2, as changes will be made and things will end up utmost unreadable if every edited pattern based on A1 will show up in the PRESET overview and in the SCENE view as A1: this can't be the way it is meant. A copy of A1 needs to be named A2, A3, A4 and so forth when pasting it in the PRESET page.

Is there a way to rename patterns (would be weird, too!) or am i missing something ?

    Greets,
    Gekko

I think the behavior is so correct. A copy of a pattern is called the same as the copied pattern. But you can press the "previus" button when you are on the pattern page and rename the copied pattern there, whatever you want to call it (3 characters).

Thank you so much for this! I didn't know about that feature and didn't find it in the manual...thanks so much for this information!
