Sequencing Logic X instruments

Hi,

I’ve been trying to use a couple of tracks in the Vector to sequence some sampled drums in Logic X. I have the parts outputting midi over channels 12/13 via USB host, and the instrument tracks in Logic set to receive the midi channels.

No matter what I do, it seems that midi from all parts sent via USB host are being sent to all Logic channels! So my hihat part is triggering bass drum, and vice versa.

can anyone help?

Check the doc's on how Logic routes incoming MIDI, I recall it has some unusual default behavior that is at least highly customizable.

Also, the MIDI Monitor from snoize.com is alway useful for situations like this.
