I have upgraded to 2.9.28, but I cannot make fills work - does it require another "special" beta version or could someone explain a tutorial on exactly how to make it work?
I have been to "Global" > "General" > "Fills", pressed "Shift" + "Edit" + "Clear".
On "Pitch" page, it shows a little icon on top saying Fill:1 etc., but no matter what I do, I don't hear any chance.
Having some issues with presets saving with the most recently released Feb19 firmware. For ex: I copy and paste A01 to preset space 03. I then edit 03. Now Preset A01 is the same as preset A03. It overwrites or deletes the older copied preset to the changes I have made.
I'm so behind with Vector.. I'm still using 2.0.6. Would you all advise I hold off using messing the 3.0 beta until the most obv bugs have been crushed?
Also where is the best place to start getting tutorials given how far back I am FW wise? Last video I watched was Torvasi, Jim, Steve and the dude with the dark hair also from Albuquerque (Corey?) and I didn't finish it.
jim I read on the Facebook group that is it is possible to plug in a sequencer like a Deluge, and route the midi to the trigger outs on the jack expander. Is this possible? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Actually it's not yet. I got confused and mis-spoke. It works for MIDI to CV, but not for MIDI to Trigger, I have to sort out how that might be possible.
I have a problem recording sequences using MIDI and ST+T recording.
I have a Lunchpad Micro with which I start and stop the recording. The recording is done via USB-B. After recording, I switch off the recording on the Lunchpad. It is then also off in the Vecotor.
After some time, individual notes are overwritten with C5. The sequence then changes automatically.
If I remove the Midi Keybord from the USB-B, the overwriting also happens. Notes are randomly set to C5.
The version is 2.9.24.
I'm new to the Vector and loving it so far. Running the recommended latest firmware 2.2.15, but am intrigued by some of the features in the 2.9 beta like masking and Undo. Is it a good idea to try this version or wait for the full 3.0?
Also with the new Undo feature and manual saving, does that mean that presets no longer save each time the sequence stops?
I'm having an issue with the new MIDI to CV features not working correctly and making the Vector freeze and require a factory reset.
when using a MIDI Keyboard plugged into the USB A port or MIDI over USB via Ableton Live the gate of the Vector is constantly open even when no gate signal is being sent to it by a controller or MIDI clip, it also constantly plays a C6 note as though it's being held down by a key, this goes on for a few minutes till the Vector freezes entirely and after power cycling it boots into a non operating state and has to be factory reset and flashed with the firmware before it'll properly boot again,
