USB port for more than one device via a USB hub

I as a user would like to use the USB port for more than one device via a USB hub.
Example: I have a Luchpad to control the sequencer. Additionally I want to use a USB midi keyboard to input data and a USB syntesiser via the same port.
It should be possible to select the midi port to send to via globals like in a DAW.
